Description

Palm oil is extracted from the fruit of the oil palm tree. It contains a high amount of vitamin E, natural carotenoids, and oleic and palmitic acids.

Almara Soap uses only certified RSPO palm oil sourced from ethical suppliers.

Effects and Uses

Palm oil has antioxidant, moisturizing, and softening effects. At Almara Soap, we use it only in its saponified form as part of the base of our soaps, which gives them optimal hardness, durability, and ensures the right effects on the skin. It thus plays an irreplaceable role in soap production. Some manufacturers try to avoid the use of palm oil by increasing the ratio of other oils or butters. However, such soaps can dry out the skin, take a very long time to dry, and become mushy and unusable.
